I love how the MSM tried to make a big deal out of it using words like shocking and jaw-dropping. I hope he says more about this. I hope he asks the American people, “who is sick of giving away your hard earned money to sloths?”
I think it's more important we realize they hate us. Appeasement and nation-building doesn't work (haven't the last 10 years shown us this?). We need our respect back. Large bombs would do that. I still think severely crippling Iran would solve a lot of problems for us, Israel, and Europe. And I'm not saying bring back imperialism, but bring back imperial strategy with government and other things like the British did.
McCain is a reactive warmonger. He wants to arm the Libyan rebels…the same ones who hung an al Qaeda flag on our embassy. He should just retire.I want a president who isn't afraid to use a destructive "shock and awe" bombing campaign as a warning. Or at least a president who isn't afraid to issue a warning like that. If reports are correct I like that Obama ordered, along with the British, an armada of ships in the Persian Gulf. But this whole thing is typical. The Democrats make a total mess of things, then when a Republican president has to declare war, he looks like the bad guy.
We need a president who understands we are war with Islam. Obama certainly doesn't, and neither would Ron Paul.Anyone just look at Drudge? Univ Texas, Univ N. Dak evacuated (70,000 students) and a threat at Valparaiso. Muslim protestors at the US embassy in London are burning American flags. How does the Obama/Clinton amateur hour and Paul's isolationist stance help us?
With all this crap in the Middle East the past few days (anti_Islam film to blame? I think not. This is just the way these animals behave. That this happened on the anniversary of 9-11 is no mere coincidence), what would Ron Paul do? OBAMA HAS GOT TO GO
Nowadays is comnpletely different than the 80s though. Microsoft did invent GUI which we still use, but we have a lot of things digitized now…books, movies, music, photos, etc. There should be a digital age (5th generation) I think, starting like in the late 90s or so.
What I meant was that the British Museum now lays claim to them. Not sure about the legality of it, but if they did have them illegally I would imagine Greece could sue for their return. These Buddha statues weren't owned or claimed by anyone other than UNESCO calling them a protected site.
