I had money on today's games and was expecting Spain to beat the Netherlands. Unfortunately, the object of Skiguy's mancrush, Robin van Persie, made sure that didn't happen.Any predictions on the winner?
;DIf Holland keeps playing like they did yesterday, they will.
It just fits in with the scenario of the downward spiral of this country. The only thing that can save it now is a bunch of Republicans with balls. I don't see that happening at all.Personally, I'm more concerned with what pseudo-science is going to do with my electricity and heating bill next winter
Cultural issues are just as important because it's all connected. The “pro”gressives live in a fantasy world that goes against every traditional societal, economic, and political norm. When one breaks, they find a scapegoat instead of blaming themselves for their failures. When their economic policies fail, they try to “fix” it by blaming it on the oppression of whatever victim group is the flavor of the day and come up with some other nonsensical solution that won't work. Unfortunately many of their views, expecially these past two decades, have taken hold of society. The educational system brainwashes the younger generation and that keeps the downward spiral going.
That's not an extremist view of immigration, that's just a view/opinion. Being against the Supreme Court decision allowing prayer before government meetings is not extremism, but the idiot who wants to open with a prayer to Satan is.
There is more info and reporting out there, but I don't really agree that it's just as crazy now as ever. I don't ever remember common things being considered “controversial.” Since when is pro-life or pro-family a controversial viewpoint? Plus all this PC crap is completely out of control. No one can speak their mind anymore if it disagrees with anything the tolerant “progressives” say. It's much wores now than ever, and having the worst, most divisive president ever in the history of the US sure has added fuel to the leftist fire.Maybe I've just given up or am too thin-skinned for political debate. But I'm thinking it's more like being in a state of shock. What certain people say, believe, and do is just astounding.
But it's not flat either. Sand dunes? If the ground was muddier back then than it is now (from swamp life or farming soil), then maybe this is feasible because that would be more slippery. But moving things in sand isn't easy…wet or dry.(and how do we know whether that picture shows he's pouring water to move the statue or to bless it?)
