skiguyModeratorThe US government has a permanent claim to the wreckage of any US government vessel afloat or under the water regardless of whether an official claim has been made or not.
Isn't this a British ship though?
skiguyModeratorRemember, it's likely these same people who say we are not a Christian nation despite loads of evidence to the contrary. Leftist historical revisionism.
skiguyModeratorSolely over religion? None except maybe Muslim wars and it's only their side who thinks it.
skiguyModeratorThe banding together could be a sense of Greek pride.
skiguyModeratorIf they weren't fabrications, where they were found kind of blows the evolutionary/millions of years old earth theory out of the water.
skiguyModeratorHard to pin it down to a few sentences. They had a sense of nationalism. They were Greeks first; Athenians, Spartans, etc. second. After defeating the Persians, they became a world power. Alexander the Great made sure they stayed that way.
skiguyModeratorThe only reason I'd vote for Romney is because 4 years of an Obama not worryied about getting reelected terrifies me. All the extremist stuff he's held back from doing now, he'll just do it. The
brain damagedliberal base will love it. At least with a Romney, he'll be reigned in a little so he can prepare for 2016.skiguyModeratorIf I recall, Romney was Gov when Mass passed gay marriage. Even Obama hasn't gone that far (yet)
skiguyModeratorHow is Romney on green policies? Didn't he bash coal plants a few years back? What's his stance now (as of 01/30/12, 11:02 EST) on drilling our own oil?
skiguyModeratorI guess I'm not sure what you want. A pdf reader on an ereader?
An ereader that can read PDFs as fluidly as other formats.
skiguyModeratorWell, I looked at a bunch of them. Not impressed. But I'm sort of a cheap you know what anyway.
skiguyModeratorIt sure seems the GOP establishment wants 4 more years of Obama. Any real Conservative is attacked by the Republicans.
skiguyModeratorPhid, I can do everything I want even with poorly scanned PDFs on a computer (notes, highlights, bookmarks, etc.). I was just wondering if these ereaders can handle it just as well. From all I've been reading about them lately, it doesn't sound like it. I might look into some cheap tablets this weekend. Doubt the readability (eye strain) of a tablet would be as good as a dedicated ereader though. What I like about tablets over ereaders is that I can check out url links more efficiently as well as read other file formats like Word and stuff and the graphics are probably better too.
skiguyModeratorNotch, can you create bookmarks in a file that's not perfect?
