Didnt they say it would be a smoking ruin in a month? Dont let it happen. If you shut down they'll throw a party…they win. I would just ignore the threads they thrive on. Talk about the subject matter that you intended for the board in the first place and ignore them unless they want to contribute to the subject. If they start with the athiest stuff…ignore them. Dont let them ruin your board.
I have heard of the limit set until someone replies to the OP, than after that your out of luck. At least that way you cant change what you said after someone replies to it.
It's supposed to be Buddy Holly, but I think snopes says that is an urban legend, at least the American pie part anyway.
We must be very careful about these color alerts, Captain Kirk got in big trouble for going to red alert when he should have gone to yellow….now if I was a real geek I could tell you the exact name of the episode, but I cant remember…. ;D
I beleive civilization is what the human condition is on the inside, how men treat one another, and what constructive things they do for the benefit of human kind.
It is a terrible thing, but when you consider the thousands of bridges in this country I think we have a pretty good record.
