ParticipantThat's really interesting stuff. So I'm guessing you had to move around a lot because of safety concerns, is that correct?

ParticipantReally, since when did carbon dioxide become a pollutent? I understand tha too much of anything can be bad, but it seems to me that CD is as important to the ecology as Oxygen is too us. I however am no Scientist. 🙂

ParticipantPerhaps it's about time you started authoring your own book on the topic of your choice...

I'm Hoping to have it all done by June and ready to shop around. Because of that My Irish Story I mentioned in another thread has been on the back burner for the last few monthes.

ParticipantI know I can speak for all when I say This forum deserves a chance to grow. I get jealous when I see other forums with thousands of contributing members. 😀

ParticipantI dont think the spammers could follow if the legit posters were PM'd, right?

ParticipantI might be mistaken but didnt the last British vet die a few months ago, I think he was 110.

ParticipantTrue they havnt sold surplus for a while that I know of, I just thought the timing was odd because I cant remember when they last sold it and I've been in there off and on since I was a kid.

ParticipantI've toyed with the idea, and I think I've done it in the past. On the one hand, I want to bring people this the site who are interested in history. On the other hand, I don't feel right about sifting members away from a competing forum. Therein lies my problem.
When the owner hasnt been on in months I would say he has given up, at this point I think he has let the spammers have it. So I just dont see how they are competing with anyone right now.

ParticipantThanks forthe clarification. didnt the Redstix fight in the war of 1812? I just cant remember for which side.

ParticipantYou're simply not going to find this kind of thing in an aluminum-sided warehouse!
😀I think we have given way to quantity as well.

ParticipantJust curious. I'm sure I could find it quickly enough. From what I understand it's like napalm....a kind of liquid or gel substance which is not extinguished by water.
I was under the impression that no one knew the actual recipe for greek fire
