ParticipantGreat book too. His handling of Mystic River was good too. But with that cast how could you go wrong?
Mystic River? You got me there. I never heard of it. Pizza, yes, but not river .... unless it's about the Austrailian who commited armed robbery with frozen sea food .....
The book I was refering to was Outlaw Josey Wales by Forrest Carter. ( he wrote another excellent book called the Education of Little Tree) Mystic River is based on a book byDennis Lehane of the same name (mystic River)

ParticipantI'm going to Hijack my own thread if no one minds. What kind of president would Mccellan have made? I believe his legacy would have been that he ended the war between the states and the union would have stayed disolved because he made peace with the south by giving in to their demands for independence.

Participant1864 – Confederate General John Bell Hood marched from Gadsen to Guntersville, Alabama in order to cross the Tennessee River. However, Hood had forgotten to retrieve his army's pontoon bridge from the Coosa River in eastern Alabama. He took the troops 50 miles out of their way and made a surprise attack on Tennessee unlikely. When Hood did move into Tennessee Union General William T. Sherman's force was ready and waiting. He forgot his bridge? ::)
